Banks works out of Long Island, New York.  He is a self taught 3rd generation artist who works in a wide variety of mediums. His work has evolved over decades with a diverse history of commissioned works for business, organizations and private collections.  His subjects range from abstracted portraits and studies of urban decay to fantasy creatures and vintage carnival art.  He has amassed a vast inventory of rhinestones, bottlecaps, blocks of old wood, broken tile and anything he finds inspiring to use in his compositions.
